A great evening had by some of the Howley Civils team at the Mercy Hospital fundraising event “It’s A Man’s Thing” on Friday last. The funds raised will go towards the Mercy Hospital Men’s Cancer Project.   Howley Civils were proud co-sponsors of the event along with O Leary Insurance. These funds will be used to fund equipment used in the diagnosis and treatment of Prostate, Testicular and Penile Cancers in men from across the Munster region and beyond. The Funds raised at the event are helping to expand the Mercy Hospital specialist Psycho-Oncology service. This service, established in 2017 provides psychological and emotional support to men dealing with feelings of anger, frustration, fear, depression as a result of their cancer diagnosis. We wish to thank everyone at the Mercy Hospital for great work that they do on a daily basis and the rugby personalities for the entertainment on the night.
